Women's Self-Defense Workshops

NPMA hosts Women's Self-Defense Workshops throughout the year. During these workshops, we cover strategies and hands on tactics relating to real life scenarios. Some of the categories typically covered are Striking Skills, Escape Tactics (grabs, chokes etc.), Weapon Scenarios, and Situational Awareness.

Tai Chi Classes

Tai Chi is an internal Chinese Martial Art practiced for defense training, health benefits and meditation. Tai Chi has three major components: movement, meditation, and deep breathing. All of the major muscle groups and joins are needed for the slow, gentle movements in Tai Chi.

Please note there is a $250 minimum for all private classes & workshops. For classes and workshops under 25 participants, the $250 minimum will still apply.  Additional travel fees apply for events more than 30 miles from Union Grove, WI.  Space must be provided by host, can be indoors or outdoors. Fees must be paid 30 days prior to event.

Sensei Elliott provides waivers, assistants (if needed), along with all needed equipment such as pads, body shields, escrima sticks, etc. Escrima sticks will be provided for use during the class/workshop, but are available for purchase as well. A set of sticks to keep is an additional $10.

Participants should wear comfortable, workout attire.
